Here I am with the Aquatones, positioned between Colette Delany and original member Dave Goddard on the the extreme right. This picture was taken at a restaurant near the Benedum center on May 1,2002, just before one of three tapings of the Red, White and Rock show in Pittsburgh. Other members shown include Paul King on the extreme left, and Rick Hornung next to him. Here is a fine classic vintage picture of the Aquatones, on a not quite so vintage sleeve. This was most likely produced in the early 1970's, but I believe that the record was a boot or maybe a somewhat legitimate release by Lou Fargo. |

Their first Recording from 1958. This record had two strong sides and got plays on each one, until the market and Lou Fargo decided on "You". Debuting on the Billboard Pop charts on April 28th 1958,it peaked at #21. This was really not a true indication of the discs popularity,as many regional charts placed it much higher and requests poured in to radio stations all over the U.S.A.

The follow up, "Say You'll Be Mine" was every bit as good as "You".This really fine record also made many regional charts, but was unable to crack the Billboard pop charts. The Aquatones didn't release a bad record in their "too short" career.
